Fire Risk Assessors – Appoint us.

All non-domestic properties need a fire risk assessment and businesses with more than five employees must have a written document. If you’re the responsible person, you must make sure your building is safe from fire and make judgements about the risks and suggest the most appropriate solutions.

As the responsible person you need to:

• carry out a fire risk assessment of your premises and review it regularly
• tell your staff about the risks you’ve identified
• put in place, and maintain, appropriate fire safety measures
• plan for an emergency
• provide all staff with information, fire safety instruction and training

If you’re carrying out a fire risk assessment yourself, there are helpful guides online, like the 5-step checklist by Gov.uk but if you have any doubt about your ability to meet your duties, you should instruct a professional fire risk assessor.
