The hot question: Should we move to EV?

The hot topic of the UK’s fuel shortage has got business owners talking about whether they should replace their fleet with electric vehicles (EV). Research says that online searches for EV vehicles went up by 1500% as soon as the shortages began.
EV fleets are inevitable but “when should we transition?” is the question businesses are asking.
Companies can reap significant benefits from transitioning to EV, from government funding, environmental reputation, operational efficiencies and cost savings. However, sufficient energy supply, employee buy in and the mileage effectiveness cause business owners concern.
Many organisations have already made the move and are capitalizing on their first to market opportunities. Whilst other companies are preparing for 2030 when new petrol and diesel cars will be banned.
By 2030, the UK Government have committed to meeting world wide climate change targets which will reduce CO2 emissions by 75%, saving Britain £15bn in fuel costs.
